A Red Red Rose
by Robert Burns
O my Luve’s like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June;
O my Luve’s like the melodie
That’s sweetly played in tune…
Happy Valentine’s Day from the Varnum Post.

Today was a real treat for local Long Beach residents. The 44th President stopped in to do a Town Hall meeting in Costa Mesa. Many of us knew his plane would be landing at the Long Beach Airport. So we hopped in the car, myself, Brenda, Jo and Pat, and set out to capture some pix. Most people thought that President Obama would motorcade down the 405 to the Town Hall. However, I think he was swooshed away in one of the 5 Marine Helicopters. Well I got to take some pix close to Air force one. It truly is a magnificent airplane.
Here is another picture, a closer up one.
